We are already aware of this bug, looks like sandboxes are not always properly closed when their parent process exits. We are working on this as we speak

Can anyone elaborate on whether this issue is only affecting 8.1? We are looking to upgrade from 7.2 to 8.0, but I don’t really want to end up in this situation.

This issue was fixed in 8.0.10, which just went out yesterday:

The fix hasn’t made it into 8.1 yet, but it should be included in the next 8.1 beta release.
