Scary auto-upgrade behavior

I just tested auto-upgrade on one machine (to avoid bringing down the house), and I noticed this in the upgrade logs:

Copying bin files to bootstrap folder /newhome/qmaster/Thinkbox/Deadline6/temp/LauncherBootstrap Copying /usr/local/Thinkbox/Deadline6/bin/Couchbase.dll to /newhome/qmaster/Thinkbox/Deadline6/temp/LauncherBootstrap/Couchbase.dll ... ...
Temporary files are being copied into the qmaster user’s home directory, and then deleted once the process completes.

Since this is a shared home directory, how is this not going to go horribly wrong if 100+ nodes decide to auto-upgrade within a small window of time?

It probably will go horribly wrong.

I think we can change this in v7 to use the system’s temp directory, instead of the one in the Deadline user folder.

Cheers,
Ryan
