Is there anyway to make the slaves search for jobs automatic?

I've noticed that I've always had to press F5 before a renderjob would start.

Hi James,



The slaves DO search for jobs automatically, but the search is done

timed intervals. If you open the Repository Options from the Tools menu

in the Monitor (while in Super User mode), and then enable Slave Verbose

Logging under the Logging section, you’ll see that the slaves will start

printing out the interval that they’re waiting for before they start

looking for a job.



The default for this interval is 60 seconds, but you can reduce this in

the Repository Options. Just look for the Delay Between Repository Polls

setting under the Slave Settings, and reduce it to something that works

better for you.
