setting primary pulse display error?

I have 2 pulses set up, but when trying to set the primary property, the display in the pulses panel doesnt match the settings.

For example:
deadline02 is set as the primary. I open the edit pulse properties dialog and uncheck the checkbox, then set OK. It asks me if i want to put deadline02 in standby mode, to which i respond with yes. Then I get this:

Capture.PNG

Confused, if i cluck on edit pulse properties again, it shows the Primary checkbox enabled still:

Capture2.PNG

The only way i found to actually only have one primary, is by editing the pulse properties of another machine to NOT be primary (it still shows Yes after setting this), then toggling it again and saving it with a Yes setting.

Hey Laszlo,

Want to make sure I understand the issue you are seeing: you have two Pulse instances in your pulse panel, one is the primary and one is not. If you modify pulse properties on the non-primary to make it primary that does not swap which one is the primary pulse?

Setting the primary pulse as non-primary does indeed appear to do nothing (this is intentional, as there needs to be a primary pulse but the UI should handle this better).

Are you seeing two primary pulses in your monitor?

I was seeing two primary pulses, and was trying to set one of them to not be primary.

Ah that should not be happening. I will log issues for this and for the UI bug. For now, try deleting the second pulse instance or manually setting the primary value for it to false in the db.
