Hi,
i was wondering if there’s any plans to add a silent install switch that will allow killing any running Deadline processes prio to installation/upgrading? A few times now i ran into the issue that the installation couldn’t be finished because i forgot to manually exit the Deadline Launcher. In most of the cases this is not an issue as we deploy through wpkg which installs packages before anybody logs in. But sometimes i just don’t want to reboot a machine or two just to upgrade Deadline (and reboot again after installation). So will i have to wrap all this into my own installation script or is this maybe something you may be adding? I know this is also a bit dangerous. But in my opinion anybody using silent installers and a command line argument like this should be knowing what (s)he is doing anyway
