Would it be possible in future versions of frost to implement a new way of meshing, so that when you have hundreds of intersecting cubes for example, frost could mesh those cubes so that only the outside surface would be the mesh, making it one surface without any intersecting polys, just the outside surface?
There could be two different implementations of this: something similar to Boolean Union of all boxes (which might be what you are asking for), or a “Union Of Meshes” mode similar to the Union Of Spheres. The latter is what Frost does natively - it would create an isosurface based on the influence of the meshes, producing relatively rounded edges which might be not desired:
