Slave exception getting file size

Slave logs in 7.0.2.3 have a lot of this type of thing going on:

Scheduler Thread - Could not get file size for /path/to/some/file.ext: An exception was thrown by the type initializer for Mono.Unix.Native.Syscall (System.TypeInitializationException)

Sorry, I thought this was drive usage. (I’ve removed my old answer)

Can you give me the full stack trace if any?

Edit:

Are these over NFS? Looking at the code commit to fix this, it does appear that it should be fixed in the 7.1 beta after all.

That is the full stack trace, and yes, it’s over NFS. Glad to hear it’s fixed though.

Do you happen to have any idea about a possible 7.1 ETA at this point? We’re having a lot of issues with 7.0 after just 5 days of use.

Talked to Ryan this morning. Release Candidate is getting really close, like maybe a week away. Official release will be likely at the end of April so we catch anything before locking changes/fixes.

I’ve seen some of your issues here, and you seem to be hitting quite a few of the known bumps.

You’re one of our best reporters Nathan. Having you on the beta team would be fantastic if you can swing it.

OK, thanks for the info. I’ll try to find the time to re-involve myself in future betas.
