Just noticed that Deadline slave 7 on Ubuntu 12.04 does not open an UI. Rendering works perfect, but the UI it self just does’t load. It just runs in the background.
Is a new mono needed?
When you installed the Deadline Client on the machine, did you choose the option to install the Launcher as a daemon? If, that would explain why the Slave is running without a UI.
