Slave picking up old, deleted job

One of my slaves has been insisting on picking up an old deleted Maya job when rendering. Whatever I submit, it will start rendering this old job in place of the new submitted one but still mark the new jobs tasks as completed. I’ve tried clearing out the jobs in the monitor and also the slave folder. Is there any other place this file could be hiding?

That is really strange. Have you tried restarting the slave machine to see if that helps?

What is the slave doing to indicate that it is rendering an old file? Is it using the old job’s name, the old scene file, etc? Can you post a slave log that shows this slave rendering the wrong job? The best way to do this is to start the slave fresh, let it reproduce the problem, then close the slave. Then, grab the most recent slave log in the log folder and post it.

On XP, you can find the logs in c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\frantic films\deadline\logs.

Thanks!

I think it was related to the user that was logged into the machine. I logged off and used the dedicated render login and the slave picked up the new job.

Before, the slave looked like it was picking up the new job but the frames that it was saving out were from an old job.
