Installing DL client on a workstation, unchecking “start slave when launcher starts” has no effect: the slave starts anyway with the launcher.
Windows 7 pro, DL 5.1.0.45235 R
(not a big deal, just wanted to report a bug)

Good catch! We were writing it to the global deadline.ini file, which is only referred to if a local user deadline.ini doesn’t already exist. The installer now updates this value in the global and local user deadline.ini files.
This problem affected the client installers on all 3 operating systems, and we will fix it for all of them.
Cheers,
