Slaves not being added to the bad slave list

Hi,

I’m noticing that we’re having a problem with slaves not being added to the bad slave list after they’ve failed the specified amount on a task, this is causing a real issue because they then go on erroring until the task fails and eventually the job fails. Any suggestions on what might cause this? We’re using version 6.0.0.51561

Hey Nick,

This should be working properly. Can you post a screen shot of your Failure Detection settings for the Job Settings in the Repository Options? We can take a look at the settings to see if something might be configured incorrectly.

Hi,

Sorry about this, it seems like this may have actually been a job setting problem. Ignore Bad Slave list was ticked on, I’ve removed that and it’s doing what I expected now. Is there a setting for this on the submission ( I couldn’t see it in the SMTD Dialog) ? One users jobs all had it ticked on so I’m wondering if he set it manual after submission or it’s being set as he submits.

Hey Nick,

SMTD currently doesn’t have a way to set this option, so I imagine it was done manually after submission.
