SMTD bug - "--Unknown Property: "x" in OK

Hi,
This might be shadow chasing here…but I’ll report it anyway just in case anyone else experiences this…

Boot up SMTD from fresh install in fresh install of Max2012x64.
Click Limits, Click “slave info” with no slave selected.
Crash occurs in “SubmitMaxToDeadline.ms” - line: #1096
Listener outputs the following:

– Error occurred in btn_ShowSlaveInfo.changed(); filename: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2012\scripts\SubmitMaxToDeadline.ms; position: 41096; line: 1095
– Frame:
– state: true
– tempArray: undefined
– theVal: OK

MAXScript Rollout Handler Exception:
– Unknown property: “x” in OK <<

Strangely, after restarting 3dsMax, I can’t repeat this issue. I deleted all locally cached SMTD scripts and restarted 3dsMax and still couldn’t re-create the issue!
Also, the SMTD needs updating to say “v5.1” instead of “v5.0” and the “?” help buttons in the rollout seem to all be pointing to an incorrect URL as I hit a “page lost” @ www.thinkboxsoftware.com website.
Mike

Hey Mike,

Thanks for reporting this. We’ve tracked it down and it will be fixed in the next beta. The problem was we were trying to collect info from the saved settings ini file that wouldn’t be in there during the first run of SMTD.

Cheers,

  • Ryan

Cool. Thanks Ryan. Did you see the last bit of my post?

Right, sorry! The version number will be updated, and the ? buttons will point to the correct page, although they won’t auto-scroll to the proper section because of the way the docs are currently set up.
