I am wondering if there is an Autdesk Softimage 2011 patch for 4.0 SP1 yet?

Actually, the patch for 4.0 SP1 should also work fine with Deadline 3.1. Follow the same steps to apply the patch, and if you do run into a problem, just revert back to the back up files you copied and let us know.

Hello!

I’ve tried replacing those files with new provided but instead of working (in 3.1 SP1) when I start Configure plugins I get this message:

Error occurred while generating plugin configuration for plugin XSI: Requested value ‘multilinemultifilename’ was not found. (System.ArgumentException) (System.Exception)
Error occurred while generating plugin configuration for plugin XSIBatch: Requested value ‘multilinemultifilename’ was not found. (System.ArgumentException) (System.Exception)

And after closing message window there is no XSI plugin configuration in Configure plugins window at all.
Any idea?

Ah, the multilinemultifilename control was new in Deadline 4.0. To fix this, open your XSI.dlinit and XSIBatch.dlinit files that were included in the patch and replace all instances of “multilinemultifilename” with “multifilename”. Save the files, and try viewing the plugin configuration again.

Found it, fixed it, working :slight_smile:

Just one correction… it wasn’t in XSI.dlinit and XSIBatch.dlinit but in *.param
