I am having a weird issue now. Deadline wont pick up textures in my Vray scene. The scene is on a NAS network path with all its textures. If I open the same exact scene from the network in Max on the same machine and render it, it will render fine. Any ideas?
I am using Max 2008 and Vray 1.5 Sp1 on Vista x64 SP1.

Hey Bob,
Is the job erroring out with “cannot find texture” error messages, or is the job rendering, but the textures are missing from the renders? If it’s the latter, check if you’re submitting the job with the “Ignore Missing External File Errors” option checked under the Render tab in the submission dialog. If it’s checked, try submitting the same job with the option unchecked. Deadline shouldn’t be explicitly ignoring textures, so if the textures can’t be found when rendering, having the “Ignore …” option unchecked should at least catch this and provide an error message that might explain the problem.
Also, do you have the vray vfb enabled? If so, try disabling it to see if you get the same results.
