Startup time isn’t accurate in 6.1 I’m getting startup times for 3ds max of about 1-2s. As a result it’s throwing off render time estimates on the first few frames for shorter jobs.
Can you elaborate more? Is the problem that some tasks have long startup times, and others have shorter startup times? This is pretty common for max jobs because the initial load of max can take a little while, but once it’s loaded, the startup time for subsequent tasks is fast.
Every single job has little to no startup time. So the time to start Max seems to only be the first 1s between task start and 3dsmax.exe in the task list instead of the full max startup sequence w/ plugin init. I would expect it to end startup at lightning.dlx
