Not sure if this is expected behavior or not. I am testing Frost for use with lidar based point cloud objects, static points. I am loading them via the Particle Files rollout, converting from pts to prt. I set the file to be “load single frame only” and I have UNchecked both viewport update check boxes. My expectation then is that the frost object, once generated, should not need to be regenerated, as nothing is changing. However it appears that anytime I drag the timeslider, it is updating. Am I missing something or can this be changed? Thanks!
It’s not really intended, but yes, that’s how it works now. You can sort of work around it using “Convert to Editable Mesh”. I’d like to change this in a future release.
