Strict Error Checking Problem

Hi,

We are evaluating deadline for our render farm and till now it has been smooth sailing…But since the past 2 days we are facing problems with some Maya files…Basically those have shave & Haircut plugin nodes in them, which are not required but we are not able to remove them…So the problem here is that render job crashes as soon as the node problem occurs in spite of the fact that strict error checking has been disabled…I’ll be posting the job logs soon…Please help as our existing managing software “MUSTER” does not face the same problem

Edit
I have attached the log file of one of the packet…Please check and revert back

Hi Manish,

When you post the job logs, we’ll take a look and try to figure out why

Deadline would be reporting an error on the job even though strict error

checking is set to false.

Cheers,

hello…I have already posted the error log in my previous post…Please can someone come up with a solution to this

I’m attaching a zip file which contains two replacements for the MayaErrorParsing.ffs file in your deadline repository. The first one, in the folder ForDebug, prints out another message which might help tell why disabling the strict error checking isn’t working. The other one, in the folder DisableStrictErrorCheck, should completely remove the strict check in a different way.

If you try the ForDebug version, please attach the resulting message you get so we can fix whatever is preventing it from working. The other one should let you do the rendering you need. Let us know if anything breaks in this

Thanks,

-Mark

hey Mark,

thanks for the reply and i will definitely check both of them and get back

to you…
