Thanks for reporting this! It looks like our Rhino submitters aren’t building up the path to deadlinecommand using the DEADLINE_PATH environment variable. We’ve logged this as a bug targeting 6.1. Are you able to submit your Rhino 5 jobs from the Deadline Monitor for now?
Yes. no issue submitting jobs from Deadline monitor.
However, when submitting jobs from Monitor with “Submit Rhino Scene File” checkbox checked, the render results are missing material information. The material references are resided in share drive (drive mapped) that recognized by render slaves.
Any insight?
Are the paths to the material relative or absolute? The only reason I can think of that this would fail when submitting the scene file is if they’re relative. The Rhino scene file would be copied to the local slave machine and then opened from there, so any relative paths would be broken.
