Submit Maya Scene File via python script

Hi All,

I am submitting Maya jobs to Deadline via a script where I pass the two job files (maya_deadline_job.job and maya_deadline_info.job) as arguments to deadlinecommand.exe.

Is there any way to include Submiti Maya Scene File in the info job?

Thanks for the digging haha, that code does appear but the permissions on the folder are locked down super tight by IT so I’m not really able to edit it currently. I’m not 100% sure that code isn’t for other things though, for example it seems to be specifically for a script job (as in different to the startup script) in this code here, but in other places seems to contain generated MEL code from the “WriteBatchScriptFile” function: # This is script job, so we'll just execute the given…

If you mean to take a copy of the scene file into the Repository, add it as a third argument while calling deadlinecommand as outlined here.

If you want to reference where the scene is, the unoffical standard variable for that is “SceneFile” in your “maya_deadline_info.job” file.
