There is no popup window with the results, and this is in the console:

This happens when the current user doesn’t have permissions to spawn the remote command results panel. This can be done in the Manage User Groups panel:

Hm… i swear i was a superuser. Disregard then, i might have forgotten to turn that mode on

This will actually be fixed in beta 9. The problem was that the UI layout was being restored during start up before checking if the Monitor should start in super user mode.
