We are trying to use a script to run a post job task that takes a series of rendered frames and creates a quicktime. The documentation for Draft indicates: “Valid codec values are: ‘MPEG4’, ‘MJPEG’, ‘H264’, ‘DNXHD’, ‘RAWVIDEO’, and ‘VP8’”
The problem is that none of these codecs supports RGBA.
Is there another option for creating a quicktime mov from frames?
Currently, Draft supports the following codecs: ‘MPEG4’, ‘MJPEG’, ‘H264’, ‘DNXHD’, ‘RAWVIDEO’, and ‘VP8’ (see
docs.thinkboxsoftware.com/produc … deoencoder). Unfortunately, at this point, it is not possible for Draft to encode a movie with an alpha channel embedded. It is also not possible to specify color depth.
Adding support for those features is on our wish list. In addition, we would like to add support for Animation codec and Animated PNG codec.
