Task logs being split mid-render, then orphaned

If a task renders across 2 days (say, from 6 PM to 1 AM), the local log file gets rotated at midnight, so only the part of the task log that occurs on the second day ends up in the repo. This also results in orphaned “first-day” partial logs cluttering up the slave’s Deadline log directory that will never be deleted.

Thanks for reporting this! The log rotation bug will be fixed in Deadline 7. We’ll also be changing the local task log file names to match the slave and render thread they belong too, and ensuring that orphaned local task logs are cleaned up before the render thread starts its next task.
