I’m submitting jobs from Cinema4D using the physical renderer. The slaves pick the job up and render it successfully, however, the progress percentage remains at 0% until the task is complete. Upon completion it jumps to 100%. Each task has 20 frames to complete, so I would expect to see some progress updates. Is this an update rate issue? A bug? The way my network is configured?

Can you send a log from the job? We can see what C4D is printing out, and determine if we’re processing the available information properly.

Thanks! Attached is an updated file that should allow Deadline to monitor the frame progress properly. Go to \your\repository\plugins\Cinema4D and make a backup copy of Cinema4D.py. The unzip the attached file to the same folder. Try another render and let us know if it works.
