Phew, being that it is going to be boiling in LA, cold libations of any sort are a must.
I will miss the fine weather of Vancouver we had last time… that suite wasn’t soo bad either 
Really? I can’t say I’ve ever thought of SIGGraph in LA as being hot. New Orleans? That was hot. But LA averages like mid 80’s for highs.
It was in the 90’s last time, not extreme by any means, but it wasn’t Vancouver either
Hot is such a releative term, it is definitely not as hot as the San Rafael Swell in July/August

I guess I’m just used to being indoors from 7:30am until 7:00pm. Everything is air conditioned anyway, so it’s not like we’re suffering. But I guess that just adds to your argument that we should congregate at one of those air conditioned establishments for refreshments.
well, seeing as how we are going to toast ember and krakatoa - on those nights we should be in hot areas. frost toasts should happen in a vodka freezer.
