maybe I’m just missing something but, it looks like there is no motion blur on matte objects if using TP “objects as groups” ( shapes )
If I use TP itself as MATTE object ( shapes from volume breaker ) there is still no motion blur in Krakatoa renders.
I know there are some issues with TP motion blur and VRay but does krakatoa support TP as matte objects and if it is, how do I get the motion blur for matte objects?
another solution would be to export TP shapes but this is pain in the ass for over a million shapes
I think that you need to make use of the “>Sub-Sample Geometry” option in the “Motion Blur and Depth of Field” section of the “Main Controls” rollout in the Krakatoa GUI. This feature is described at length here http://www.thinkboxsoftware.com/krak-main-controls#.3ESub-Sample_Geometry. Normally Krakatoa only applies animated node transforms to matte objects, and you need to enable geometry sampling to capture animated vertices when motion blurring matte objects.
