Tile assembly issue with Deadline 10.4.2.3 and RPManager

Hello,

We are having an issue with tiled rendering when jobs are submitted from RPManager from max 2025.

All of the render elements work properly and assemble correctly except the main pass. It appears that the main pass is not writing with the tile extension. Instead it just writes the base pass name and when each worker renders they just save with the same filename. Then upon assembly the main pass tiles cannot be located.

For example - our main output is called - STILL_Drone to north_.exr. Each tile writes the same name as the main pass, overwriting as it saves. Then the assembly task looks for this file name as one of the tiles but it is not saved. - STILL_Drone to north__tile_1x1_6x1_.0000.exr

This was all working fine with Max23, and deadline 10.2 but not with newer versions. We also tried deadline 10.3 versions but it produced the same errors.

Any ideas?

Hy,

we had the same problem.

we work with corona 15 and max 2026.1 and everthing was fine.
after upgrading to Corona 15.2 and 2026.3.3 the Mainpass files are not renamed with the Tiles.
(Vray and Scanline saves the tiles normaly)

Our Solution was to deaktivate the corona Framebuffer 2.0 to NATIVE (RenderSetup: System > Systemsetings [ VFB Settings ])

Hi Gerhard,

Thanks so much for your solution. That worked for us as well on Corona 15.2 and max 2025.
