TP seems to be a non-functional-unit in Frost

Frost 1.2.3

What am I doing wrong? This happened in previous build too, I just updated to check.

Repro:

  1. Create TP
  2. Create new Dynamic Set
  3. Add Position Born to new Dyno set
  4. Create Frost
  5. Pick TP
  6. Error:
ERR: BuildMesh: Could not get particle_istream from node: Thinking01

Show Mesh or adding a shape does nothing.

Nevermind, my bad, I inadvertently had TP 5.0 installed in 2010 :blush:

It happens in the best families. :slight_smile:
We decided to wait for the final 5.0 release before supporting it with our products, otherwise we would have to recompile against various non-final SDK versions…

I don’t blame you either Edwin and company deliver a lot of builds (like someone else I know) before release candidate, not saying that like it is a bad thing either. Stuff gets fixed.

I was dumbfounded to say the least as 2010 is my go to production install, I never, well obviously almost never, install betas in my get-er-done max install.
