Hi guys, this has only been happening since last night but I am trying to cache my Thinking Particles and it used to work absolutely fine. Now it asks ‘Do you want to cancel?’ every single frame. Has anyone come across it before?

The only thing that comes to mind is a stuck ESC key
There are only two ways to trigger a cancel of a ProgressBar - ESC or clicking the Cancel button at the bottom of the Max UI.
If you are not clicking the Cancel button, make sure the ESC key is not damaged and sending signals constantly.
Thanks Bobo, I’m not sure… Max has been acting strange in the last few days. Re-install maybe needed soon… shall double check the ESC key though haha
I was having a similar issue on couple of the machines at work although I was only saving geometry. At first I thought it was a stuck key also.
