Unable to Render with Houdini 20 / Redshift

Here’s my log file. I’m able to connect and load the file on the remote machine but I’m unable to get Deadline to render it.

Can you access this file as the user running Deadline? Does the RS plugin and everything else load?

Which .625 version are you running and does it have a relevant RS plugin? Think the latest went up to .590
C:\ProgramData\Redshift\Plugins\Houdini\20.0.590

Oh! That actually might be it. They have .625 in a custom forum post and not in the main installer. Thanks! I’ll try that.

Please follow our Houdini troubleshooting guide. it tells how to isolate such issues from Deadline to get move verbose logs and to split the problem space in half.

Avoid using spaces in filenames . Although most operating systems support them, many software packages (including Houdini!) sometimes assume that filenames don’t have spaces, and this can cause a lot of trouble. Use CamelCase or under_scores instead.

I see that the file you’re trying to read in has spaces you might want to quickly remove them and then try it again. I’ve seen this cause problems

Thanks, Derek. I updated my files to remove spaces and I’m still unable to get it to read the file properly. It seems it just isn’t reading the drive its located on even though I can connect to it and load the scene from the second node.
