Hello, I’ve updated our repository from 10.1 to 10.2 and was hoping the clients would all update themselves but no such luck. When manually updating the first, I noticed a pop-up asking if I want to block or unblock Auto Upgrade. Since block is default, I’m guessing they were all installed that way. Is that something I can change on each client to get them to update?
That can be done with this client configuration setting, details on where the file is on your machines on that page as well.
However rolling out a file change to that many machines might be a pain, so I’ll also mention the DCONFIG_ config override where you can use environment variables to override settings and might be an easier rollout.
And if that doesn’t do the trick the autoupgrade logs will be spread between the deadlinelauncher and deadlinelaunchernew logs in the application logs folders.
The logs will be on the machine in one of these locations:
Windows: C:\ProgramData\Thinkbox\Deadline10\logs
Linux: /var/log/Thinkbox/Deadline10
Mac OS X: /Library/Logs/Thinkbox/Deadline10
Wonderful, thank you!
