I’m planning on upgrading out Deadline from 10.1.20.2 to 10.1.23.6
Should I just run an update on our existing repo or do a fresh, clean install? I saw somewhere here that upgrading was hanging at certain points…

We just upgraded from 10.1.19.4 to 10.1.23.6 earlier today. Still testing to make sure everything is running correctly (customized stuff).
Before the in-place upgrade, I did prune a lot of old jobs. I think the upgrade prob. hangs if the db has too many jobs. But we’re a small shop…
However, our deadline repo runs on a VM, so did a snapshot just in case before starting.
The last update we did, we upgraded the underlying OS so we did a clean install of deadline that time.
