Are there any prominent controls in Frost that seem useless?
I’m tempted to remove Use Tetrahedron in the Meshing rollout. Also, if Frost could read the viewport particles from Krakatoa, then the viewport Mesh First N Particles and Particle % controls may be redundant.
Do you use either of these controls? Is there something else you’d remove?
With the recent speed increases and faster defaults (Radius 5 Union Of Spheres), I would say the Tetras override could go.
But the Mesh First N / Particle % should not be removed because not everybody is loading from Krakatoa - in many cases people are dealing with Meshes, PFlow or TP, RealFlow BIN sequences loaded directly into Frost etc. (IIRC the Percentage applies to all particles regardless of their source)…
