Hi,
I’ve just launched a third attempt on the Mac Laptop - this time from the terminal. Again, the viewport crashes.

Thank you for your report!

I wonder, does the viewport work correctly, but only covering 1/4 of your screen?

  • One way to test this would be to use the Create → New Point Region of Interest menu item, and see if anything appears.
  • Alternatively, use the Options → Alternative Controls menu item. Then move your mouse cursor over the viewport, hold the Alt button, and then try dragging any of your mouse buttons.
Next, could you please try resizing the Sequoia window, and see if that corrects the problem?

I also wonder if this could be related to Retina display scaling. Could you please try to enable “Open in Low Resolution” mode for Sequoia? You can find instructions on how to do so here, under “I’m noticing functional or visual issues with an application. How can I make it work better?”
