It looks like you just need to configure the VraySpawner plugin so that Deadline can find the linux executable:
thinkboxsoftware.com/deadlin … figuration

Currently, it just has the windows paths in there. If you add the linux one, then it should start working.

Cheers,
Ryan

Hi,

Vray for Maya DBR Linux has no file with VraySpawner as with Windows.
Can you help me?

Best Regards

I think the executable is just ‘vray’ on linux. Can you try that?

thanks for the quick help

The file does not work.
Have they tested.

Sorry, it looks like the name of the executable should be ‘vrayslave’, not ‘vray’. Can you check if you have a vrayslave file you can point to?

We did test this on Linux and OSX back when we initially added support for it, so it should work.

Cheers,
Ryan

Hi,

The vrayslave file it was now to do it.

The service vraymayaslave may not need to start automatically with the system so be Disabled.
Otherwise it does not go with deadline.

VraySpawner Configure Plugins:

Maya 2014 Spawner Executable: /usr/autodesk/maya2014-x64/vray/bin/vrayslave

Thanks for the help

Best Regards
