Vray+maya license error

Hey guys,

I’ve been rendering on AWS( maya + ray) for a few days, but I noticed, on May 10, after bought new vray and maya render hours, my render nodes can’t start new jobs. I have enough Maya and VRay hours, on Customer Portal, to at least start a new rendering. What could be wrong?

Hey Gustavo,

This “one of the input parameters is bad” is the actual error here. When this happens, the pool of licenses local to your render machine doesn’t get filled from your hosted license server and so it complains that there aren’t enough licenses.

We’ve seen this blip occur on the back-end service occasionally. Usually a restart of the node helps here. If it doesn’t, please cut a ticket as we may need to make some adjustments on our end that require information I’d rather you not post publicly. The good news is that I can confirm (based on the e-mail you used for signing up on the forums) that you do have licenses available.

i opened a ticket about it, cause restart is not enough.
