Waiting for MongoDB Service to Start Listening

I am installing the Deadline6 Repo on a WindowsServer 2003 system. As I start the process, it installs all the files for the MongoDB just fine then displays a dialog that says ‘Waiting for MongoDB service to start listening’. This goes on for a long while then says ‘the MongoDB ain’t listening, etc.’.

What should be done at this point to get the installation going?

Do I need to try to start the service manually then re-run the installer minus the MongoDB stuff?

Thanks!

OK, I aborted the Repo install, went to the MongoDB folder, checked and everything seemed to be there, started the mongostat.exe and it seemed to be displaying the status of a functioning service, went to Services and it confirmed that the service was started then reattempted Repo install sans Mongo and it saw the service and installed the Repo successfully.

Thanks!
