We have jobs triggered from slaves, and they seem to be putting popup notifications onto the rendernodes themselves. This stops deadline from being able to auto update.
It would be great if we could disable popup notifications on the rendernodes as a slave setting (like “dont popup notifications on this machine”)
These popups are a bit weird too, cause its showing on multiple machines for hte same user. The user had no workstation defined in her user settings.:

Yup, that’s exactly the problem. We’ll fix that by only sending popups when there is a machine name for the user.
When submitting a job, you can specify the job user in the job info file using “UserName=…”:

You can have your auto-generated jobs be submitted under different users this way.
