I know, this has to be a stupid question, but I checked the forum’s quickly and didn’t see any other comments so I thought I’d ask…
Does Deadline support a web interface or does the Deadline support querying the repository/API??
Basically, I’ve been doing some minor remote monitoring (watching the renderer’s, making sure they’re working etc) but on a ADSL1 to ADSL1 connection over VPN…it kinda sucks (i think the last check took about 30 minutes to load the monitor).
If there is no support for this directly from within deadline, is there any API support for another service to make queries against the repository?? Really after basic stuff right now…who’s online and who’s doing what…more advance stuff can wait right now…
Cheers
Shane
Hi Shane,
Deadline does not have a web interface. However, you can use
DeadlineCommand.exe to query the repository. If you run
DeadlineCommand.exe without any arguments from a command prompt, it will
print out all the options and usage instructions.
Hope this helps!

Ah, that sounds better then my first idea…of skimming through the files in the repository…I’ll give it a look and see what I can dig out!
Thanks for the head’s up!
