In 7.0, I’m seeing some weird behavior. If I suspend a task, resume it and let it complete, and then re-queue it, it goes back to being Suspended.
Hello Nathan,
I did some testing on this using Deadline 7.0.3.0 and C4D R15, and I was not able to replicate it, even following the steps you gave. Could you give some more information about what happened?
Not really. That’s pretty much the whole story, though I’m using 7.0.2.3. I submit a job, and then either suspend the job itself or select all of its tasks and suspend them.
At that point, I right-click a task, resume it, and let it complete. Once it has completed, if I right-click it and re-queue it, it goes back to being Suspended.
Hello Nathan,
I spent about 30 minutes testing this, using different methods of suspending(submit as suspended, suspend post submit, tasks one by one, all job, etc) and different steps to have it complete(naturally, forces) and I still could not reproduce it. I did this on 7.1, so I would love a chance to verify if your issue is still persisting in this version on your end. Is trying out the beta an option?
Hey Dwight,
If testing the 7.1 beta is possible against an existing 7.0 repo without corrupting anything, I might be able to find the time to give it a shot. Otherwise, I’ll probably just have to wait until 7.1 is released and try to reproduce this again.
