What is "Deadline Group" in Spot Fleet Config?

According to this doc. We copy the AWS configuration JSON and add it to our Spot Fleet Configuration.

Here’s an example with two Deadline Groups, called: deadline_group and another_deadline_group . Each Group also has an [optional] Deadline Pools list added

This “Deadline Groups” , is it referring to the job’s Group/Pool? Or something else?

Yep, that’s in reference to the Deadline Groups and Pools. So if you’d like the Workers created by the fleet request to have their Groups and Pools set on creation you can do it there.

Thanks Justin. Yes I gave it a try and indeed the Spot Event did start up AWS instances correctly. I have some other major question in this regard I think I’m starting another thread (also submit a ticket last night but still waiting for reply)
