What year is this? I have to contact y’all to get a license? That’s so… archaic. And Pricing? There’s nowhere to even get a price? This is just insane. What else are people using to render 100M particles? Houdini can do some I guess I’m surprised that in this day and age you’re sticking to a business model from 1998 when your product is still (what I’m guessing) relevant. I’m getting more hits for the dang volcano than your software. Been a long time user and I’m just surprised to see this I guess.
I just went through this with them. It takes about 1-2 weeks to get a license from them. If I’m being honest, it’s one of the slowest experiences I’ve witnessed, especially considering the fact it’s a digital product. I’m not sure why it’s such a process to a buy a product. It’s like they want to make it complicated.
Just an update, everyone should be sorted here. If there are ever hiccups, feel free to ping either amsler@amazon.com or thinkbox-sales@amazon.com. Thanks!
