What's happened here?

Is anyone getting any useful support from this forum atm?

For many years now, this forum has been for Peer To Peer discussions. The Support team uses a ticket-based system (previously OSticket, but currently powered by Zendesk) to interact with customers: https://awsthinkbox.zendesk.com/hc/en-us

So while there might be some Thinkbox support engineers around here, this is not the place where you should be asking for Support if you want to communicate with the Thinkbox support team.

This should be posted on top of the message board with a glowing neon sign…

Because right now it says : Discussion and Support of Deadline, the Render Management System without mention of lack of staff support. And it sucks that your “proper” support channels are opaque and that the discussions are not public.
