where is the draft python libs?

I’m having difficulty locating the draft python libs.

I looked in:

/opt/Thinkbox/Deadline7
/mnt/deadlinerepository/draft

and a few other places…
any clues? im on a linux system

They’re in /mnt/deadlinerepository/draft/Linux/64bit. The Draft.so library is the module that you import with “import Draft”.

Ryan

ok,

We do not have a Draft.so file in /mnt/deadlinerepository/draft/Linux/64bit/
we have these files:

colors.xml libavcodec.so.54 libavutil.so.51 libswscale.so.2 libx264.so.125 type.xml
DraftParamParser.py libavformat.so.54 libOpenColorIO.so.1 libtbb.so.2 SourceSansPro-Regular.otf Version

but searching for ‘Draft.so’ I do find one match:

[rupert@vfx01ldnlinux deadlinerepository]$ pwd
/mnt/deadlinerepository
[rupert@vfx01ldnlinux deadlinerepository]$ find . | grep Draft.so
./draft/Mac/Draft.so
[rupert@vfx01ldnlinux deadlinerepository]$

Which version of Deadline 7 repository do you have installed? You can check the repository.ini file in the repository to see the version number. In older versions of Deadline 7, it’s in the directory you installed the repository to. In newer versions, it’s in the settings folder in the repository.

It looks like you might have an older beta version of the repository installed…

Cheers,
Ryan

yes we are on an older version.

ini file:
[DeadlineRepository]
Version=7.0.0.33

I guess I need to wait until we update then…

Yup, updating should fix it. It looks like the Draft.so file was missing in earlier versions of the repository.
