On the same machine, go to F:\DeadlineRepository6\bin\Windows and unzip the bin.zip file to a temp location (ie: C:\temp\bin) and then run the following command from a command prompt:

c:\temp\bin\deadlinecommand.exe -UpgradePluginSettings "F:\DeadlineRepository6"

Of course, change the path to deadlinecommand.exe as necessary. If you get an error, can you post it?

Also, which version of Windows Server is this? Does it have .NET 4.0 installed?

Deadline 6’s deadline command or Deadline 5.2’s? My bin folder is still compressed as a zip in Deadline 6. Is that correct?

Oh you mean in the error message bin folder.

Thanks! Looks like we’ll have to add that check to the Repository installer as well. It uses deadlinecommand.exe to configure the Mongo database and upgrade the plugin settings. I think we’ll just treat is as a warning like we do with Mono on OSX/Linux, but be warned that you’ll have to configure the database manually (which is covered in the Repository/Database installation instructions).
