Are there any versions of win server 2016 that are good for only deadline server to operate? There are couple versions licences as I can see, standard essentials and others so… I was wondering which version of windows server 2016 is good to go with deadline server only to handle repository on it. Or more which licence is good and costs less then all full blown versions of licences

linux version is best version of windows, costs less too 
don’t forget to add CAL’s or whatever license system Windwos now has.
well in this case it has to be win server preferably 2016 so…
now just looking at options. for example if windows server 2016 standard version is good to go.
