Would be great if we could have a pre-mesh magma that we could apply. We have a case now where we need to put shapes on TP particles, and build orientation channel, but we can’t put a magma modifier on top of the TP. There’s plenty other situations where it could be very useful too.
But you can put a Magma on a Krakatoa PRT Source which should be able to convert the TP particles to PRT stream on the fly without saving to disk. That’s why we added it.
I am pretty sure the idea for a pre-mesh Magma has been floated around before. It is a valid wish, just trying to point out there might be a workaround…
