WOL/Start Machine over VLANs

Hi there,

I have partitioned an existing infrastructure from a flat LAN into multiple VLAN’s therefore currently Workstations exist in a separate VLAN to Rendernodes.
I would like for workstations to still be able to Start machines/send WOL signals. I am currently running pulse on one of the rendernodes (in the same VLAN).

Is there functionality that would allow a start machine command to be sent via the pulse node?

Found the functionality… so I guess mark as solved… :unamused:

Tools —> Repository options —> Client Setup —> Remote Control —> Enable - “Redirect Remote Commands through Pulse”

Actually is it possible for some guidance from Thinkbox as to whether or not the above settings apply to the WOL functionality?

ie. if I go; remote control —> machine commands —> start machines on my workstation (different subnet to rendernodes) should the WOL packets/frames be sent via the Pulse machine?
