XMesh Output from Nuke

The current build only supports loading XMesh files into Nuke, but there have been some rumblings about generating XMesh data from Nuke for use in other applications or Nuke itself. I thought I might as well start a thread on it and see if anyone wants to chime in with ideas!

Yes please! I have a scene where I used a depth generator node to create a displaced plane in Nuke. Getting that to round-trip from Nuke -> Max -> Nuke apparently was impossible. I tried every FBX/OBJ combination imaginable and couldn’t succeed finally just had to eye-ball it back into place.
