XMeshNK 0.9.0.57553 beta release (January 2, 2015)

XMesh Source v0.9 for Nuke. Supports Nuke 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0 on Windows, Mac and Linux.

Release notes:

  • Load XMeshes into Nuke
  • Installer, or zipped bundle for network deploy (zipped binary bundle is Windows only)
  • “Up” axis corrected for Nuke default

Known Limitiations/Upcoming Improvements:

  • Vertex display mode not operational
  • XMesh proxy mode not implemented
  • Extra channels not accessible (beyond texture, normals, velocity)
  • File dialog not filtering by .xmesh
  • No XMesh saver
  • Display percent currently has no effect

Breaking changes from prior beta releases:

  • Some (as yet unimplemented) controls have been removed for now. This may cause problems loading scenes created using the prior beta releases.

Working fine for me, if velocity output worked for motion blur I’d use it for a tonne of particle snow shots!

Great to hear it! The velocity issue is on my shortlist of bugs to get squashed ASAP!

Have you got any rough timeline on that? Are we looking at weeks / months type of thing? I reckon it’d knock out about 100 simple shots for me pretty much right away :smiley:

My goal is to have it patched in the next few weeks to a month.
