3dsmax Deadline "Error: RenderTask: Unexpected exception (Monitored managed process "3dsmaxProcess" has exited or been terminated."

Hi, my name is Pablo (new user). I have been trying to send an animation sequence from a server and have been getting the following error:

Error

Error: RenderTask: Unexpected exception (Monitored managed process “3dsmaxProcess” has exited or been terminated.

– I am cutting the main error log body and going right to the end –

Scene renders just fine in my personal computer and in the server. Other scenes have been doing just fine. I can not make much from the error log more than something is closing the render, maybe the monitor manager is closing it? I appreciate any help or direction as what I might be doing wrong.

Thank you very much

Pablo

The error you are running into is a generic error. Deadline returns it when loses connection to the 3dsmaxProcess with no any error reported. We will need to test the render outside Deadline on the render node it failed on. Refer to this forum post which has the similar issue and troubleshooting steps: Deadline, 3DSMax and FStorm - #2 by karpreet

I did some of the option described in the other post but still havent found a solution:

I am getting this error on the render node:

=======================================================
Error

)

Type

RenderPluginException

We are trying to clean up elements in the scene one by one and render again. So far not much luck!

Are there any warnings or errors in the body of the render log? All we know from the “Monitored managed process “3dsmaxProcess” has exited or been terminated.” error is that Max stopped running and we didn’t ask it to stop nor did we tell it to stop.
